Please join us Saturday, August 30th from 2-4pm upstairs in our wine department for a nice little through Stephen and Matt's head. Yes, it's what we like to call Dealer's Choice. They roam the shelves, grab what they like and pour it for you. See you Saturday!

Seattle Cheese Festival Keeps on Giving!
May 29, 2008

Neals%20Yard%20Dairy.jpg
Like a comet, the Seattle Cheese Festival has passed - not to return for 352 days - yet in its wake, we have some wonderful cheeses from wonderful producers at wonderful prices.

If you are a Neal's Yard or Mons fan, you're in luck because we have several of their cheeses not often seen locally. From Neal's Yard Dairy: Lancashire (a mellow, buttery cheddar-like cow) and Berkswell (the best English sheep, period). From Mons, the famous Cone du Port Aubrey, in its unusual, bra-like shape tastes every bit like French goat should.

Other amazing cheeses From Neal's Yard on special include Cornish Yarg (Gary spelled backward - really) and a blue, Stichelton (famous for its inclusion in the award-winning Grilled Cheese Sandwhich Recipe at this year's Festival).

So if you couldn't quite punch through the crowds at the 4th Annual Seattle Cheese Festival, come on down -- All those cheeses and more are right here at the shop!
