| Tastings | New Arrivals | Wine Picks |

We admit we're a little spoiled here in the Wine Shop. We get to taste dozens of wines every week. Most are just so-so. Others, the rare few, make an impression strong enough to wedge their way onto our crowded shelves. More often than not, these select wines are from small, family producers - pure representations of the glorious fruit of their origin.
This section of the Wine Shop site is dedicated to shedding some light on these little gems. We hope you find a wine you like as much as we like these...
| 2007 Veramonte Pinot Noir Reserva | |
The 2007 Veramonte Pinot Noir Reserva from the Casablanca Valley in Chile. Back in 1990, Agustin Huneeus chose this beautiful valley for its microclimates and soils He realized their similarites to California's Napa Valley and Carneros winegrowing regions. The Reserva Pinot Noir is a real classic Pinot with earthy aroma, red berry fruitiness, nice acidity and a soft finish. Beyond all this, The Veramonte Pinot Noir Reserva is an incredible value. If you hoave a choice between a Carneros Pinot Noir and the Veramonte; choose four bottles of the Veramonte and take home some change! |
